The MLS 2012 All-Star Game will see Adidas use their "MiCoach" technology to power the very first "Smart Match" which will provide coaches the opportunity to track players speed,intensity, power and more. This announcement came following the introduction of Adidas new soccer cleat, the AdiZero F50 MiCoach. the cleat will allow the coach to track all the players abilities through a sensor inside the shoe, underneath the insole. The player(s) will also be able to track all aspects of their game through the sensor inside the shoe.
This technology, and others like it, is just scratching the surface of how players play in professional sports and could be the tool others need to improve their game. Check out this video and others from players who wear the shoe.
